Green Toys Build-a-Bouquet Floral Arrangement Playset

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) It's funny how this seems to be the first bouquet builder toy to be released in recent memory. It really took this long for someone to come up with it? Well I'm glad they did, as my daughter fell in love with these flowers as soon as she opened the box. Made from recycled plastic milk jugs, Green Toys brings us a neat floral arrangement playset. I didn't think this toy would be as good as it is, since the stock picture makes it look kinda plain. But once you get everything out and see how many different combinations can be made, it becomes clear that kids can have a lot of fun with this.
You get 8 pieces for each flower color (pink, purple and yellow), lots of leafs/stems and 4 grass bases. None of the parts are sharp and the pieces feel like they can hold up over time. The pieces simply fall into place with no clicking or locking system, so most of the time, disassembling flowers will be effortless. There were a few times when my daughter would get the center pieces to the flowers stuck, but it's nothing a quick prying with a pen couldn't fix. You can make a lot of different beautiful arrangements, or go nuts and stack all the pieces on top of eachother, making a giant flower tower.
It's a safe toy for kids, made of recycled materials, and made in the US, but I do have a few small problems, mainly the price. That much for this? You should really be getting at least one more flower color and the matching pieces. I'd also recommend getting a second set just to make an even bigger garden. As much fun as my daughter has making her colorful garden, another set would add more fun big time. I guess the main thing is that it doesn't seem like you're getting your complete money's worth. That's just me though, and shouldn't keep you from giving this toy a shot.
Build-a-Bouquet is a great toy for any kid to have, and works great with other small toys. Right off the bat, my daughter had her Littlest Pet Shop pets in the flowers, giving them a new home. Here's hoping for more from this company.
