All of the lights worked straight out of the box. I was a little concerned since I needed all 24 lights to work in luminaries for a 50th Anniversary party. Was very happy each one lit up after pulling out the plastic strip and switching it on. The lights were bright enough to see them inside a luminary bag in a fluorescent lit room. Will use them again in May for a graduation party. Great value and nice lights.
