Our old bed was terrible. It was a cheap, noisy, wook-slatted flat-pack thing. We needed a new mattress and definitely didn't want to put it on THAT.



After reading the reviews on here we decided to go with this platform bed. SOOOO glad we did. It sets up in a snap (seriously easy) and poof! new bed. It supports our awesome new memory foam mattress and is the normal height for a standard 14" bedskirt.



My hubby and I are both overweight and it doesn't phase the platform at all. Even, um, "vigorous" activity doesn't make it squeak or anything.



If you need something strong, sturdy, and easy to set up, get this! There's also the version with headbord/footboard brackets attached if you need that.



One word of warning: the package is HEAVY when it arrives. 120+ pounds. That's the only "downside" and that only mattered for as long as it took to get it down the hall to the bedroom.
